Titles and Awards

2- Overall Highpoint Winners! 0-7 Young Miss Kentucky and 8-up Teen Miss Kentucky

Winners will receive our Gorgeous Full Miss America Style Round Crown, Huge 6 foot Trophy,
Satin Monogrammed Sash, Stunning Floor Length Robe, Beautiful Flowers, Official Tiny Miss Luggage,
Very Nice Director’s Gift, Fees Paid to Tiny Miss Southern America Mini-National,
a $250 credit to Tiny Miss of America Nationals and Best of All-a $2,000 Savings Bond!
*Highpoint scores are totaled from Gown, Interview/Schoolwear, Swimsuit, and your
highest scoring Optional Event. Highpoint Winners will not place in their division.

2-Highpoint Talent Winners 0-7 8-up
The contestant with the Highest Talent score in Wee Baby-Tiny and Petite-Senior will
receive a $200 Savings Bond, Huge 5 foot trophy, Beautiful Crown, Satin Monogrammed
Sash, and Gift! *Highpoint Talent Winners will not win Talent in their Group.


8 Age Division Queens
0-17, 18-35, 3-4, 5-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19 *Age as of Day of Pageant
Winners will receive our Gorgeous Full Miss America Style Round Crown, Huge 5 foot
Trophy, Satin Monogrammed Sash, Stunning Floor Length Robe, Beautiful Flowers,
Official Tiny Miss Luggage, Very Nice Director’s Gift, a $150 Credit to Tiny Miss
Southern America Mini-National, a $250 Credit to Tiny Miss of America Nationals and
Best of All-a $600 Savings Bond! 1st through 4th runners up shall receive a $100 Savings
Bond, Trophy, and Gift. Everyone will be recognized on stage with a National award and Wonderful Gift!

All age groups will model a gown. Contestants in Wee Baby-Petite may wear a long or
short gown. All other age groups must wear a long gown. Gown may be Plain or Glitzy-
Should be age appropriate, fit well, and flattering to you. The gown should
not take away from the beauty of the contestant.

Mandatory Events

Swimsuit

All age groups will model a ONE-PIECE swimsuit. There will be a parade of contestants
in which each contestant will give a SHORT introduction to introduce themselves. This
introduction is NOT judged. Contestants in the Baby – Preteen division will model
without shoes and without ribbons around feet or toes. Junior and Senior divisions
may wear shoes of choice. No pro-am swimsuits, props, or cover ups, please.
Rhinestones, sequins, and stoning are acceptable if tastefully done. Since we are a
preparatory system for Miss America and Miss USA, Seniors Only may now wear either a
one-piece or a two-piece swimsuit. Please select a style that is most flattering
to your body type. No string bikinis are allowed. Winners in each age division
will receive an award and Gift!

Schoolwear (Wee Baby-Tiny)
Schoolwear should be something you would wear to school (no jeans or sweats). It can be
store bought or made, but there should be no glitz, rhinestones, or a “vogue” look.
Choose an outfit that reflects your personality. On the last X, a question will be
asked from the contestant application. No props, please. Winners in each age division
will receive an award and Gift!

Interview (Petite-Senior)
Each contestant will have a 5-minute interview with the panel of judges. Attire may be
a dress, business suit, or pantsuit. Interview will be based on a one-page fact sheet
submitted by each contestant. Please return 4 clean, neat copies with your entry form.
Winners in each age division will receive an award and Gift!


Optional Events:
Contestants may enter one, two, or all three optional events in order to qualify to win
the Overall Highpoint Titles!!! Your Highest score in the optional categories you enter
will be added to your total score from the mandatory events to determine your Highpoint
score. Age group winners are determined solely on scores from the Mandatory events.

Photogenic
Submitted photos should be age appropriate and may be Natural or Retouched. Pictures
may be black & white or color and should be 8x10 in size. You may enter as many
pictures as you like, with your highest score considered for the Age Group and Overall
Photogenic Award.

Runway Modeling
Work that runway!! Let your personality shine!! No pro-am modeling techniques.
Contestants should use the 2nd and 3rd X’s only. The following music will be used:
Wee – “What a Girl Wants”, Wee Baby – “Celebration”, Baby – “Pretty Woman”,
Tiny – “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”, Petite – “Respect”, Preteen – “Vogue”,
Junior – “Ladies Night”, and Senior – “Supermodel”. There will be a 1 ½
minute time limit.

Hobby/Career Wear
Contestant may model an outfit of choice that demonstrates a favorite hobby or career
goal (e.g., ballerina, cheerleader, nurse, attorney, etc.). Wee – Tiny will have their
introductions read by the emcee. Petite-Senior will have 20 seconds to present their
introductions on the 1st X. Please limit your routine to 1 ½ minutes. Props are
allowed but Must be carried by the contestant. All introductions must be
typed or neatly printed. This event is not a type of talent routine, but a modeling event.

Talent
Talent scores are not counted when determining Age Division or Highpoint Winners. The
time limit is 2:30. Talents will be timed and 10 points will be deducted if the
contestant exceeds the time limit. There will be a Winner and Four Runners up in each
age division!

Overall Awards
We will award a 0-7 8-up Overall Photogenic, Overall Runway and Overall Hobby/Career
Wear. The contestants with the Highest score in the Optional competitions Wee-Tiny and
Petite-Senior will receive a 4 foot Trophy, Wonderful Gift, and a $100 Savings Bond!!
You will automatically be eligible for the Overall if you enter the event in that
category! Overalls will not win that event in their Age Division.

Host Hotel
Our Host Hotel will be the Comfortable Holiday Inn North Hotel
in Lexington, KY. Conveniently located in the heart of theBluegrass,
and minutes away from the Famous Keeneland Racetrack and Downtown Lexington! The
hotel features an indoor pool, fitness center, and interactive video games in the Holidome!
We’ve reserved a Special room rate of $79.00. But you Must mention you are
with Tiny Miss Kentucky, and you need to make your reservations ASAP. The hotel will
only hold rooms until October 26, 2007! Call the Holiday Inn North at
(859) 233-0512 , 1950 Newtown Pike, Lexington , KY 40511. Remember to tell them you
are with the pageant to get the Special rate and to guarantee availability!

You can enter this pageant for Free by Referral Credit! Refer Three Contestants who
have not competed in one of our pageants, or have a deposit in already and You get your
Entry Fee PAID! Refer 5 and Your Entry Fees, Registration Fees and All Optional Events are PAID!

You may also enter FREE by selling ad pages to friends, family, and local businesses.
Full-page ads are $100 each. You may split the pages anyway you like (for example sell
half page ads for $50 or quarter pages for $25-You may even ask 10 family members to
donate $10 and sign a “Good Luck” page!) but you must total full pages. We will
reproduce your advertisers ad or business card on your Ad Page. You may also include a
photo of your daughter for each page! Sell just 5 pages and win your $250 Entry Fee
PAID IN FULL! Sell 8 pages and receive $250 Entry Fee Paid in Full, Registration
fee Paid, and All Optionals Paid! The contestant who sells the most ad pages
(You must sell at least 8 to be eligible) will be named our Tiny Miss of Kentucky Ambassador
and will receive Two FREE nights of Hotel Accommodations during Tiny Miss of
Kentucky, a Savings Bond, our Gorgeous Signature Round Crown, Huge 6 foot Trophy, Satin
Monogrammed Rhinestoned Sash, Very Nice Director’s Gift, and her photo will
grace the Front Cover of the Program Book! This is a Great opportunity to win a
National Title! All ads and ad sales fees Must be turned in by October 24, 2007!

2007 National Program Book
You must submit a wallet sized photo for the program book along with your deposit.
These photos will not be judged. Deadline to receive photos is October 24, 2007. All
contestants MUST have a photo in the program book. Our program books will be Very nice
-Please make it even nicer by not being left out of it!

Costume Party!
Saturday night after competition we will have a Costume Party with a Costume Contest, Candy,
Music, Dancing, Games, and Gifts! Everyone needs to bring a $10 Wrapped Gift for
the Gift Exchange!

Pageant Information:
*Deadline to enter is October 24, 2007. We Can Not except ANY entries after this
Deadline. NO exceptions.
*Lineup will be determined by the order entries are received. First in-Last out.
*Contestants will enter at #1 (no turns). Walk to #2 (full turn of choice with pose).
Walk to #3 (face judges, full turn of choice with pose). Walk back to #2 (half
turn back around to judges). Walk to #4 (turn to judges). Exit stage. The ballroom
will be open Friday Night during registration to practice. This is for Everyone-
so Please take turns!
*This is a Natural Pageant. Light- AGE APPROPRIATE Hair and Makeup is acceptable. No
Fake Hair or Fake Teeth are Allowed. A 10 point deduction will be taken for anyone
using these.
*We accept Cash, Money Orders, Paypal (tinymisskytn@gmail.com), and GOOD Checks.
Returned checks will be charged a $35 return fee.
*No refunds except for cancellation-Deposits may be applied to any of our other pageants.
* Receive $25 for each referral! Refer 5 and enter for FREE! Referrals must have a paid
in deposit with your name on the referral line of their entry form. Referrals cannot be
added at registration. You will still need to send in your deposit to hold your place
in line-up and will be refunded at registration.
*Sibling Discount-First child enters full price, additional children enter ½ off.
*Contestants will compete their age as of the Day of the Pageant. Please have proof of
birthdate with you.
*There will be a Post lineups after all stage events.
*We will try our best to run on time, please be aware of this and be prepared. We will
not wait for anyone. A Mandatory 20 Point Deduction will be taken for arriving late for
any area of competition and re-competing for reasons other than technical difficulty or
verifiable sickness.
*Please do not call and ask who or how many are in your age group. This information
changes daily and will NOT be given out!
*NO cameras or video equipment of any kind allowed in the ballroom. There will be a
Professional Photographer and Videographer on hand with photos and video of your child
for purchase.
*One adult door admission is included in registration fee. Additional door admission
will be sold at the door for $25. You Must have a wristband on at all times-this will
be checked. We are not responsible for lost or stolen wristbands.
*We do not double crown. Overall winners will not be the age division winners of those events.
*Ties will be broken with Facial Beauty first, then by the judges.
*Judges decisions are final! Original Scoresheets will be available after crowning.
*Absolutely NO Bad Sportsmanship! Anyone acting in this manner will be removed and
their child disqualified without refund!!
